Direct Democracy UK Party

Welcome to the website of the Direct Democracy UK Party

Here you will find information on who created this website, why it was created, what direct democracy means, why it is the only true form of democracy and how it could solve most problems facing British citizens today. It will also explain in technical detail , how it can be implemented without any risk of deception or sabotage in the democratic process.

You can also register your interest in supporting the implementation of direct democracy in this country without any cost to you and volunteer to be an MP when the opportunity arises.

If and when enough support is received by the general public of the UK for a reasonable chance for our members to enter parliament, or when enough “unconditional” financial support is received, an official Direct Democracy UK Party will be registered with the Electoral Commission.

Once registered with the EC, members of the party will be selected from those who registered their interest first. You will be offered to become the first DD MPs with the aim of implementing direct democracy if and when the party comes to power.

Once in government, laws will be enacted that will effectively implement direct democracy (DD) in this country and thereafter the people will make the decisions, not politicians. The role of politicians will probably change into one that administers DD and makes the minor decisions. That role, like everything else, will be decided by the people.

It may take many years to achieve DD in this country, however it will be worth it as you can imagine.
